Locked in a room with nothing to spare, Trapped within the bounds of my minds own lair, Nobody knows and nobody seems to care, That I lack a person with whom these feelings I can share. A bleeding heart can never die, It can only grow darker, With every passing day, Drained of its life, There isn’t much to say, Except to quicken the pace of the stabbing knife. There isn’t much to say which hasn’t been said before, Other than to question what my life is for, But such a question is natural don’t you think? Don’t all of our hearts equally ache? If it isn’t over love it is for something else, Something tugging at the heart strings, Like for a Christian the sound of church bells, Everyone has lost, Everyone has gained, But that I lack love is something I am at odds to explain. I am not retarded, I know what love is, I have some faith in god, But have not experienced bliss, I am not suicidal, Though I have entertained the thought, I have looked towards the sky, And it was all for naught. I have the intelligence, I have the need, I have the resilience, In this I believe, But still I lack a companion of soul, And so I chug along in life, Forever all alone. |

Hmm... I like this a lot. The spiteful, sadistic way you tell of your lack of love appeals to me. Amazing. |
