(jesus) Monster in the raw Hamster doing tricks Silent little snake Watching me Eating me Killing me Thrilling me War is an act of open deception Broken teeth tell me so Hidden inside a private heart What’s kept secret confused Deep confusion and violence (jesus) I'm so innocent Just me alone The big man tells me things Whisper in my ear Slime and death sliding from me FEAR ME Razor sharp teeth (jesus) Clarity, it’s coming into view I'm starting to see The truth at the courtyard in the cemetery I'm sorry, I tried to tell you Pride in your invisible chains They never let loose, And they have no truce Trading for your soul Lips haven't got a clue Journal notebook making sure More blood, nails, hands in the air More blood, nails, hands in the air Sonlight pouring, prying Blood blood bloody rainbow (jesus) To wrestle is to live; to fight is to love. |
