As we struggle with existence
Our souls teaming with the taunts of life
We inhale all
Yet breathe nothingness
An act of disrespect
To those with a purpose
We are blank and hollowed out
We believe in nothing
Empty as the dead
And full of ourselves
How arrogant can we be
To believe we are something worth being
A joke and a fluke of the thought it is
Our reason a lie
We stand for nothing
And control none but our own thoughts
With out a doubt
We are the byproduct of faded innocence
And proud of it we are
Though we stand for nothing
We stand tall
For our beliefs are not meant to be toyed with
So give us nothing and we will accept
But show us All and we will turn our heads

wow...this is so full of hate...i love it! we ARE full of ourselves and i really liked the part where you said we were empty as the dead, because i feel like that most of the time.

~Welcome and awesome poem~ hope to see more from ya!
