A figure stands alone in the storm hunched over, bent, old and torn. But on his face only an expresion of scorn for an outcast he was born. So drenched by the rain and caught up, lost to himself in his pain He looks up at a gray sky in vain. As accursed thought continue to burn though his brain Ill hurt you, ill desert you kiss the blade, feel the pain ill be your dark angel. ill be your worst nightmare. Come and take a walk with me where the angels fear to tread. Do not let the truth enter your head. you know your innocence is long dead. So come share in my sadness and let it drive your mind to madness. a existance of hardest strife wont you take a moment and share my life? Give your body, give your soul ill take it all to reach my goal. You live such an easy life would make the perfect wife. i dare you to take a look, come with me and read the forbidden book enough for a volume, read in a look as with terror you shook so come and take a walk with me where the angels fear to tread. Do not let their beliefs fill you with dread, but from your rejection enough is said. an outcast born, of love turned to scorn Of shattered hearts and broken dreams and in the night no solace but lonely screams. put your hand in my hand come and take a walk with me for then hell and horror trully you will see cynical or maybe just wise? discerning? realistic?... |

It has a nice flow to it and the imagery is cold and lonely. I like it a lot. Nice work Digital_Hell! |

This is such an amazing poem! I loved how you described everything so well in this it really gave you a feel for what was happening. Although, I felt like this was cold and lonely also, I didn’t really feel like it was lonely, LONELY, like the kind where you wish someone was with you… I kind of felt like this was more PROUD and LONELY, I don’t know… My interpretation I know will be different than the next persons, but that is the feelings I received from this. “ so come share in my sadness And let it drive your mind to madness A existence of hardest strife Won’t you take a moment and share my life?" I’d say that would have to be my favorite stanza out of the whole poem that is only IF I had to choose. It’s so hard; you did such a great job with each one… That one I particularly liked though, I think it is because sometimes I feel like that. Anyway, great job on this poem, AWESOME job! It is going to be one of my favorites I know… I can’t wait to see more writes from you @-->--- |

This poem I think is not as lonely as it seems, there is invitation there to I think see or hear the pain of the speaker in the poem. But yes your images are sharp as ice and definately a dark outlook here. If your afraid of the dark, then why did you come? |
