Hey, this is a song i wrote last week for my music class.. we have to write 2 original compositions, and this is one of them.. hence the structure of the poem/song. hope u like! she walks the road she walks the road to nowhere she holds out her hand for someone to pick her up someone who doesn't know her name she holds on to nothing she holds on to nothing so damn tight and the only thing in her bag is an empty box of cigarettes and a coat that is filthy with lies cause all she ever wanted was somewhere else to go and all she ever got was a broken hearted soul and now she wonders how it'd be if it had all gone to plan coz now theres no one to hold her hand now theres no one to hold her hand well i guess i got my a** kicked, once again by an empty bottle and my own dark hand and the man in the front said i gotta get off at the next stop i've over stayed my welcome, yet again cause all i ever wanted was somewhere else to go and all you ever gave me was a broken hearted soul and now i wonder how it'd be if you'd had stayed with me would i be somewhere i wanna be? would i be somewhere i'd rather be? you can't hold me down i've been running for a while and i know every inch of the steps i had to take you lost your way long before i found mine yeah, i'm nowhere but i'm leaving nothing behind nowhere with nothing left to find haha i hope you like! much love lor can you find me space inside your bleeding heart? Oh my god. Seriously? You just posted a poem for me to read and love? Wow, I'd love to hear you sing it, that'd be... wow. I love you. Love, love, love! *hugs* Honestly, this is such a good poem/song. It was so beautiful, so, cool. Courty and Aggs say that they love you. Come on God, do I seem bulletproof? |

love this. and i love how you can so see your influences shining through. i see alanis, i see a bit of brucey and i see that open hearted poetry that jewel uses. maybe i just see them because i want to hehe but yeah its definitly choc-a-block with Lor. this is brilliant!!! miss you nirvana means freedom from pain, suffering and the external world. |
