beneathe it all
i still saw you
like no one else
and in my mind
you hadn't changed

you had a way about you
that i couldn't resist
the closer i got
the more i wanted

everything you said
echoed in my mind
like a beautiful thought
that only you and i
could understand

because what was said between us
was so overwhelming
like nothing we'd ever felt before
and there was no comprehending
the potential in us

but we could do nothing
to take it further
too many things were holding us back
too many things that could
end in tears

and then it stopped
the things you said
slowly dissolving
into the back of my memory

they'd said you'd changed
you were a different person
in a different place
and a new beauty by your side

did i believe it?
i didn't want to
and even though it was over
i couldn't let you go

and even now
this all unsolved
i still want to feel
how we did those few short weeks

but this time, i want it to be real

can you find me space inside your bleeding heart?

eeeeepp ahh laura
oh gosh oh gosh
this hits home. the whole way through i thought of James.D and wanted to cry.
you are uncanny with the way you creep into my thoughts and put them on paper.
i love you
you are so talented.

Reminds me of Morisette. You know, nothing but honesty and talent. .
Inspired by Jewel, my dear? It's beautiful. Not disjointed and really well worded.

I am really really REALLY glad to see you on Pip, I miss seeing you every day like it was when we first discovered this place, but now it means even more to me to see your name pop up.

I love you girly.
CK.

(P.S: Thanks for this weeked).

Come on God, do I seem bulletproof?

''but this time, i want it to be real''

after reading that one line, i feel as if i've just ran into a brick wall.
i just feel this poem so much.

an excellent read.

Very well said. I'm sure there are many who can relate and that feel the same way. I couldn't have done it better myself. Good job.

as long as we laugh out loud, laugh like we're mad. because this crazy, mixed up beauty is all that we have.
