With in your eyes

The darkness in my life
Overwhelms the light
That remands in my mind
To much time has gone by
To leave the helplessness behind

You put me a place
A place unknown to joy or peace
I want to be free
But joy will never be
All I feel is sandiness alone
Every time I come close
You bring me back
In to hell and more

There is so much good in the worst of us, and so much bad in the best of us, that it behooves all of us not to talk about the rest of us.

i like the directness of this. very sorrowful and ia m sorry for you pain... but this had a poignant ending. Good Write.
