Vampiric Nights

I feel her in the night
In the darkness
Unseen, but not unbidden
I see her face on the cusp of sleep
She leaves me starving
Hungry
Yearning for her sacred kiss, her secret touch
Only then does she release me,
Taking me into, and beyond darkened dreams
Lit up from within her amethyst tainted soul
Only then do I feel her breath, the hunting predator upon my neck, searching my skin with caressive lips.
Only now do I feel her claws like tiny branding irons, each marking me hers.
She captures my form, releasing my soul
sinking in taking hold biting in,
Taking me down
Down into her private heaven, where only I may walk beside her, naked beneath the firey silver arcing across the pale night sky.
swimming with her, together as one, entwined within the ether.
She laps at me then, there in that place, taking my blood into her soft wet embrace.
Draining me dry, or until she has had her fill,
I know I care little, I let her have me as she will.
For my love is her's, and all that I am.
For mad as it sounds, I am only complete
When she steals my soul
across the downs of the night.
