Loneliness By: Cherishable_Me In this dark time of despair I lie awake in my bed Thinking about the times that gone to waste As tears run down my face A shade of hatred that I recall While watching my father hit my skull I heard my mother’s cries While she slowly watches me die My father left me and mother With so many questions to wonder? Was it something I did? Was it something I didn’t do? As I got older the moment was right I left my mother on a cold snowy night With so many wounds from the past A head full of bad memories That I just couldn’t bear I leave behind so many broken dreams And so many people All from my past But now I live in the present Where there one lonely peasant Until an angel from above approaches And she leads out her hand I never been happy and sad at the same time I gladly go with her without no question or doubt Im thinking it is time to retire from this wretched earth But no, instead, she shows me my mother I watch her cry night after night Her heart was stolen as so was mine I look down on her shoulders And do the same as the angel has done I lead out my hand, as I see her smile As I say I wouldn’t give up this moment because it worthwhile |

Thank you for sharing, TY Kit We've all been there. How we deal with it determines our paths. |
