SAVE A KID FROM HELL |

In a world of sorrow and so much pain One must wonder what there is to gain? Violence on the streets is killing our kids And drugs are robbing them of smarts and wits. Kids leave their homes because home is not safe So they live on the streets with no more faith. They sell their bodies their needs to meet And end up high to hide their defeat. They beg for money for just one meal Just for a day they won't have to steal. Is there no answer, is there no plan To save our kids from this hellish land? Kids need love, discipline and care But no one even tries or cares to dare. Don't pass them by, look past the shell And see if you can't, save a kid from Hell. Sheri Adams Jesus lives in my heart! He can in yours too!!! |

beautiful topic choice... we are definately a struggling youth today, but it's difficult when so much is wrong in the world, and there's no united direction to be headed. Anyway, i loved the piece it was an excellent write, thanks for sharing -mike Life is a torment and torment an enigma. So burn the shackles of slavery and let love run free |

Musicmaker1969, A topic of major importance to me, kids. This is well written and candid about a difficult topic. I take exception only to the thought that no one tries or cares. More accurately not enough people try or care. Well done and thank you. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, |
