WINTER The clocks gone back. days half dark. leaves are gone trees are stark. Animals have no time to wait wise among them hibernate things of beauty cease to grow North wind powders all with snow, Deep chill creepsthrough the floor frenzied cries of shut that door. Collars up against the sleet, where oh where is Summers heat? The earth around is dark and dire as we huddle round the fire But after Summer's bitter sting comeslong awaited welcome Spring. |

grr, evil, who invented winter anyway? ok, God most likely...but...brrrrrrr i wanna go to Mexico now, or Hawii. yeah, Hawii would be good, it's like 80 degrees all year round there =). niiiice write...heh heh, gave me the chills  ...i'm freezing like a frozen River over here in Montana. - River Love hurts as bad as it feels good. |
