Alter egos and ulterior motives rattle the rusty cage of his soul as he begins to light his votives the corridor flickers orange he hefts the slender blade upright and begins to weave intricate patterns each symbol carefully chosen and crafted designed to convey the indescribable His weathered hands begin to tremble sepia floods his thoughts and memories joy tinged with a boundless sorrow this was tonight's inspiration drenched in sweat and tears the pain and fears all bled away he sanctimoniously lifts up a solitary paper covered in black blood, pain manifested... |
