The days are running longer. Curtains contain the darkness that shrouds my mood. Keeping me from stumbling from my bed of helpless despair. The moon is a traitor of light that can’t fool me into believing that anything good lasts, that loyalty means something, and it doesn’t hurt to be betrayed. It’s a mood I am sure. But it’s clinging to me with a fierceness that won’t belie the feeling that it’s all rolling downhill and I can’t catch up. Could be that I have crossed the line into crazed thoughts and insane ideas. Does it matter? It all has the same results. Me here. Everyone else way over there, except the ones like me. It’s just a mood I am sure. But it feels like heaviness that won’t go away. I’ve been wishing for tomorrow every day this week. "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |
