Did you fall off your branch, it’s just as well Where was I when you fell? Questions grip us while we grasp for air A vote of confidence that someone forgot to build Another Crimson King left at home To knight himself and dream of Rome He feels so alone and up-set He feels stuck paying this Idiot’s rent The drum must be stopped or he will go mad How does it feel to lose all night, all night? Well, they were crying for the loon While you softly paced your room With no intention of getting anywhere You’ve secured my lack of ambition, my dark baby In more ways than could be imagined Life is better when it’s close to the blade I’d raise my eye if only I could Give you this curse, this gift… .. This insufferable duality.. The mind must go The drum must be stopped or he will go mad He is going to find.. He is going to find It’s so hard to get off How does it feel to lose all night, all night? New lovers are nervous and tender, but smash everything. For the heart is an organ of fire |
