When life is chopped into sets of time How do you spend it? What do you do? Does it matter? You can see where your choices are going to take you? Avenues and paths Some through the countryside And others between narrow walls with moving spikes, If you get cut it hurts The problem with windows is they are windows They only reveal a small part of the picture And give only a partial glance to your paths And leave plenty of room for surprizes So as you glance at a few paths through your window Which do you choose to walk on? Travel? Live by? Serve? This is when the blocks come in. Are you comfortable with leaving comfort to the unknown? All for the better Or do you go where its eeeasiest? Slide around on the plains of life Even into the cracks, occasionally the traps If your block is too big would you be willing to shave it? To follow narrower paths? Hard paths? Where you don't move very fast and never without limits. And sometimes you have to wait with very little creativity But, rather with obedience to your limits And patience for your window,... Or hole in the wall Perhaps even a door, Or a larger window Corruption is caused by holes in obedience to God. |

I feel an Honorary Doctorate of Philosophy is in order for this one, Craig. The flow is fantastic; the meaning is resounding. The writing is becoming very fine-tuned, and I love it, not to mention relate to it in a most magnanimous way. Kudos, putz...lol! Wings bruised from turning away in such confined space...Not broken...still healable...still feathered with life, somewhere |
