A snare as a bear trap My feet have become entangled in this web A new phobia And I feel sick Vomit on this choke The refreshing scent of reminder How far it feels Love lying in a trap of butterflies Dying in the midst If you forget Seperate and different Chop through this wall Come back please Mysterious miss Dreadfully seperate Death would be better Alone and thin air Dangling The power of a trap Hold you firm under this water Empty Won't you come back to me Or me to you Its not the same There's no promise Listen to the stupid angel His whispers of distraction His teeth so slick Mighty in folly He is still the stupid one I have to get off my face And my steps land somewhere new Please this rot away from me Your glorious beauty Prescious one, I'm sorry You tell me it will be ok Don't forget me and let me love you Imperfection a plague for all Like a necklace with a sharktooth Take it off, please accept my love Even if my world falls I will say... You are holy Your promises always prove true A cure for my diseases And I feel sick ------------------------------- I'm not really interested in praise for this one, just respect, if that. Thank you. Corruption is caused by holes in obedience to God. |

a couple things i think... first, the praise you are not seeking in this incredible poem makes it even more praiseworthy to the one who truly deserves the praise in using you as an instrument of such thought provoking spirituality in poetry. second, i know it is a blessing that the one i am referring to is so loving and forgiving. you just made me think of this, for i see what a miracle that it to somewhat like me, especially in light of the fact that the one i most love (on earth anyway) in being human, isn't going to be as forgiving in my transgressions... the fallibility of us humans... the writer did a fine, fine job of using an instrument to be an instrument. thanks, craig. of all the things we try to find... it's only love we keep. |

Thanks man. Its like being shot in the dark. Yeah, being human definitely has some major disadvantages. -GIS |
