Why do I wake to this dream? perfect bliss while I sleep caught in this cycle of pleasure and pain will I drown in my own rain? Spontaneous ecstasy, please capture me hold me captive, don't lose your grip no man rules this land Paper is our almighty king Diseased and left for death what was the purpose of my first breath? no answers to our questions we turn to religion obscurity is the base of its foundation Put a murderer to his death I can only laugh at such irony living in a world of temporary permanency does not exist, why worry? Pure silence while I lay two hands when I pray people move through this world blind am I the only one with open eyes? Look into the mirror, where is my soul? ponder on this life, what is my goal? will someone tell me please why do I wake to this dream? |
