i sigh, and wish i could have stayed... memories will hold your hand now, i know, as you walk along your path. surely as the day does end, see the hope that time cannot forget; you'll see me each eve in the amber of the sunset, so cry not as it leaves. until it returns, find comfort in its rest. before you know it, it'll come alive again, radiating light, illuminating the beauty of your path, and bringing you yet closer to me. of all the things we try to find... it's only love we keep. I found it funny seeing Morning Light & then Just As The Sunset in the threads. Then I read this amazing, beautiful yet bittersweet poem! Hey, Eve, after further reading I noticed the hidden message. Your style of writing hid it well, but what is most amazing is the overall flow of this poem. My compliments on a keeper for me. This hits home. "So give life to your dreams, for there lies your survival, and cast your heart beyond those faded scenes, and I'll bring you through the storm" |

Talk about tears. Wow, Mike. As you would put it, fantabulous! I miss my bro, too, and this is as timeless a memorial poem as ever was written. I especially love it coming from the bro to you. Unique, beautiful write. I want to share this one with some folks that could truly use this message today. God bless. I feel ya!! Wings bruised from turning away in such confined space...Not broken...still healable...still feathered with life, somewhere |

...Mom says thank you from the bottom of her heart. She still has not accepted the loss of my brother, and just feels he's out somewhere and will return soon. This made her glow. Thanks again, Eve. Great write! Wings bruised from turning away in such confined space...Not broken...still healable...still feathered with life, somewhere |
