Different versions force alone One day is all but gone now Make way for the fall, or hell Hopefully heaven will deal with this mess Uncluttered, all the way to the end Now ever more, I hope for the reply Make me free to feel again Fault is unknown to all passed by Now I hear voices from inward Directed at me full force Work on and be complete Desire will be no more Try and try again Deaf from this perception Allow no compassion, walls of protection Give way to isolation Forgive all, maybe one, never ourselves Bleak and filled with hate, no empathy within sight I know not where I fit in I work now, hardly noticing Where I once called a home Strange how we move along One moment to the next It’s all to fast Slow down now, it’s all past Just a memory Fleeting at best Cold blood runs shallow In icy memories of tomorrow |

Touche'... I agree, vent on! Great piece! Wings bruised from turning away in such confined space...Not broken...still healable...still feathered with life, somewhere |

I guess we all go through stages. I appreciate all the responses, later, steve. |

It is almost impossible to hear through the silence. I really enjoyed reading this poem, real emotion and real life, thanks. |
