They said Be good They said Behave They said Smile and sit up right They said Make the grades They said Why are you acting this way? They said Who do you think you are? They said Go to college and be someone They said They said They said Breathe I said I am good I said I will behave I said I don't have enough vasoline to keep up the fake smile I said I don't like school I said I want to act out and be noticed I said I know that I'm not enjoying this I said I'm not going anywhere until you listen to me I said I said I said Then they vanished and I said I miss you...
