It's what I wanted more than anything. For you to give a damn. Nothing mattered, as long as you cared. And I thought you did And things were looking up. For once in my life I had a chance at something. And then it all went to hell. It only took one word, and I knew it was coming. And I told myself I was willing to do whatever it took, go as far as I had to. But it burns me, every time I see you, and every day when I know I should be seeing you, but I'm not. Every time I pick up a knife, knowing you'll be disappointed. Knowing what you'll say, and doing it anyway. And I'll take the bus trips, and I'll pay the phone bill. And I'll fight. Will you? *I didn't bother spell checking it and I'm not going to read over it to fix things, just wanted this out* |

Its a good thing you got that out. Raw. Like a thunderstorm. Nothing can stop moments of unhappieness and disappointment, but nothing can stop moments of happiness either. loved it i bet so many people can relate. loved the anger and the disappointment and the sadness and all those other emotions in this one. hope it helped to vent all those feelings love and empathy sophie nirvana means freedom from pain, suffering and the external world. |
