Out of Season For K- They didn't have any peonies Peonies are a Spring flower Her birthday is in November Peonies remind her of her youth The tree that bloomed outside her window Or was it a bush? So, I settled for a rose A single red rose The icon of love My favorite Not hers The noblest battles are always fought in vain |
