To you I am the enemy
attacking violently and strong.
A useless source of energy
where everything goes wrong.

To me I am the antidote
to a deadly disease.
A vision of what is yet to come;
someone you'll never believe.

I suffer from the pain you provide
I cringe at every sound, every sigh.
I hide from all the secrets you think I don't know,
but I smile, look away and keep it all on the downlow.

To you I am the deadly disease
eating away at reality.
A nightmare to the world
where nothing was meant to be.

To me I am the alli
picking through the remains.
A rebel suriviving obstacles,
trying to remember which way I came.

I suffer from the pain you provide
I cringe at every sound, every sigh.
I hide from all the secrets you think I don't know,
but I smile, look away and keep it all on the downlow.

To you I am hopeless, careless, dreamless, and empty.
That alone makes me your worst enemy.
