Erudition Of My Soul: Hardcore Confession

Hardcore confessions of character afflictions
Create a defensive shield that maintains protection
Attempts to speak of these truths that define you
End in failings and longing to show me

I see your eyes and the desire to involve me
I read your words of written reflections
Times you wished you could have broken our connection
Speak your mind and open your heart, giving me a chance to be apart

We have arrived at a point with many paths to choose
Each with their plus and minuses
Give me your hardcore honest opinion
Lets make a choice that puts hope in the future

The answer is apparent to honest eyes
Separation is what defines our steps towards tomorrow
Look back from a distance and remember me
Remember what made us the most honest of liars

Pain, loss and emptiness define me
I must recover from this dream of falling
Wake myself up before I hit the bottom
I see your face instead of the ground
Your mouth opens to swallow my helpless fall down
In one last attempt to open my eyes
I realize control is my option now
Choosing to take what already is mine
A hardcore confession inside of my soul
I am now mine to hide and to hold
