((Note: This one just came recently, I enjoy it for the picture it portrays, although I'm sure it could use improvement. For once it's not totally depressing.)) Endlessly you pour your love Out to those in need Never thinking of yourself Their cry, not your own you heed. You laugh, you cry, You see the world Through a different eye. Your love flows through the depths Spreading hope to all Yet no one hears the silent footsteps Echo through the hall Slient assassins of the light They bear pain not far behind Masked by a joy all too genuine Pure of heart shall win the fight "You laugh because I'm different, I laugh because you're all the same" |

Fess up time: Okay, so some of you have been asking who the poem was about and this is gonna sound conceited and everything, but it's about the person i myself aspire to be. those of you who know me know that i do in fact see the world differently than most and i enjoy helping pple due to my own personal experience. no, it's not some awesome guy (i wish! all my troubles would be over!) so theres the story! sorry if its disappointing... "You laugh because I'm different, I laugh because you're all the same" |

no, it's not dissapointing at all. i'm glad that you give a hoot about what kind of person you are. (don't we all?) I want to be an awsome person too...but i will more than likely be stuck with less-than-perfect and less-than-what -is-expected type of personality. *sigh* oh well. God Bless. like this poem sis =). (sorry if i'm repeating myself?) - River Love hurts as bad as it feels good. |
