I drank until the winter moon, Gave a ring to thy garden, To catch the quilt of the wind. Seasons were distant, Such like the doors, Ever big and ageless. Life ran through time, So this child listened to the fading bells, To read and discover the games of pipes and dreams. The heart was tested, The test of tearing trough the tears, So magic can find your eyes as it spins around Jupiter. To wake in the light, Leave the blankets wrapped under my skin, As the learning of forgetting is driven past the shadows. I married my wisdom, Remembered the hardships, Then left it all for a cloud of nirvana. The diaries of words that embarked me, Like scripts written by ghosts to one another. I walked outside, Leaving my notebook far behind. A smile once wide, doesn’t carry the truth anymore. |
