An echoed whisper, a silent shiver Repeating the words that make you quiver You ask yourself how you could be so blind Why the message in my words you couldn’t find You blame yourself for what I now have done I swear I heard you cry when I steadied the gun The barrel aimed at me, the bullet killing you Your heart was mine, I’ve killed you too You couldn’t see yet my message was so clear You wish you could see beyond your fear Now my message is clear for all to see, As with my final breath I whisper “remember me” you watched me bleed you watched me die you watched me not even a bat of your eye |

Wow...all I can say is wow. That's a great poem. The words, the flow, everything was amazing. I loved when you said "The barrel aimed at me, the bullet killing you" It just had such meaning into the poem. As if their hearts were both one. Great write, definatly going in my library. |
