Shatter the reflector, And sweep the shards? Or rip off the face, And tame the blood? World-wide phenomenon, Thousand cracking mirrors, Fragments dodged and faces unpainted, Or passing by horror, One hideous expression, Eyes covered and pity felt. “What’s wrong with her?” “The wind changed.” “What’s happened here?” “The wind blew too hard.” Tired of this mask, Want to see what’s behind? Maybe the veins are like rivers, The flesh, like sunsets, Maybe behind this, I’m beautiful. Sorry, moment of self-loathing. I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad. Sorry be you NOT!!!! Hollow, for this was fantastic! You really did an impeccable job of crafting this one from start to finish with the greatest of wordings and lines... (and we all know the beauty is there!) Wings bruised from turning away in such confined space...Not broken...still healable...still feathered with life, somewhere |

i may not know you personally but you personality shines through in everyting you post. you are beautiful and think to yourself whenever you feel liek this 'why am i upset? is it because of someone other than myself? (if it is someone else) why do i care what they think of me? its my body, my life and i will do what i want... this is a beautiful poem and very well written ... something that every one will feel at some stage through life well put courtney Ruth live life as if your going to die tomorow....... but love as if your going to live forever...... |
