Of course I know... It's me you're talking to You've started losing your reason to care. The years now show... It's the hue of your heart turnin' blue Lately, day after day it's been there. You're so hurting... And I know there's not a thing that I can do. Everything I wish or try... It's like it just can't seem to seep through. The uglies just keep dragging you down, further down... But for you, I'll follow; keep listenin' to that sound... It's me trying to bring you 'round. When loneliness keeps hiding, yet hiding all from your sight... I'll stay steadfast, trying with all my might... Until you finally see my light. But you're still hurting... And yet just maybe there is something I can do. Everything you try or wish... Know I'll be there, too... My lamplight shining through... For you. (all) Wings bruised from turning away in such confined space...Not broken...still healable...still feathered with life, somewhere |

There's something about the people here. I don't know. It fits though, everything you write. I love this piece because it's like...a person really...talking. Thanks for this great piece, there's always something new in your poems. Hollow. Courtney. I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad. The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had. - Gary Jules, Mad World. |

purity, i agree with what both hollow and littlewing replied. there's always something remarkably "pure" about your writing, like a fresh approach to song, and yet something sincerely new about each poem. i love this about you, as i love your words. and oh yeah, "still hurting"... this was awesome. i'll always need a friend, one i can defend. |

I love Jesus so much. I was feeling a little "bad" the other night and he came and took the dark hate to me out of me and set it somewhere else. This poem goes good with it. I still have a hint of the thoughts, but its basically me just trying to rebuild on my personal soundness and strength. This is a beautiful poem and I like everyone else appreciate it. -GIS He has made everything beautiful in its own time. -Ecclesiastes 3:11 |

Those "uglies" are just plain Ugly!! Nice wording here. The transition between The stanzas to the end does make it song-like! And the "(all)" at the end makes it all better even for me. Thank you, Purity! "So give life to your dreams, for there lies your survival, and cast your heart beyond those faded scenes, and I'll bring you through the storm |
