if you see a butterfly twice in one life does that constitute a miracle? if you reach out for that beauty further this time does that mean your will has grown stronger? if the object at hand flies towards your hand...and lands... does that mean the attraction it saw was real? if you pull off both of it's wings does it still have ability to fly towards your love? i'll always need a friend, one i can defend. |

Omg, this was beautiful. I like the way you write. Nice work. Just beautiful. Hollow. I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad. The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had. - Gary Jules, Mad World. |

Even if it doesn't fly it could walk. How strong are the hands mentioned? Exercise makes everything stronger. Beautiful work. -GIS He has made everything beautiful in its own time. -Ecclesiastes 3:11 |

Ow - this speaks to me of great confusion and pain - of a defensive soul who has lost trust - sad. Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

I agree with Susan on this one. This is very well done, and the picture conveyed is so alluringly pretty up to the very stark change in the wing-pulling question. Wow. I also concur with GIS ~ it could still walk if it truly feels it is worth the pain. Loved it, eve... Lose one friend... Lose all friends... Lose Yourself... |

I always did say that we don't need any wings to fly to our sojourn of desires. Nice pen Eve. wayne If nothing is something |

I really like the whole poem, but these lines the most. "if you pull off both of it's wings does it still have ability to fly towards your love?" A short and very profound question, EG. Though it may not have a short answer. coyote |

"if the object at hand flies towards your hand...and lands... does that mean the attraction it saw was real?" This was brilliant! I love this line. I'll test the ability of which you inquired. I've someone in mind to see How well they fly wingless. I really enjoy your works! "So give life to your dreams, for there lies your survival, and cast your heart beyond those faded scenes, and I'll bring you through the storm |
