On the days where you bereave, you will survive, I do believe. Somehow, someway you'll make it through, with thoughts of how much Jonathan loved you... He appreciated life more than you know, inspite of seeming inabilities to show. Just know how blessed he is up there. And with angel eyes, he watches... He cares. When life decides to deal you pain, the greatest of his spirit shall keep you sane. And tho' prayers are for you today the most, I know you're protected by a Heavenly Host. We can pause here now; we can stop and cry, even scream out loud to God,"Oh why?", but after all the tears are slowly gone... Remember Jonathan hasn't left... He's just gone home. Then once again you'll be able to say, "I can stop to take the time this day"... To think of life and love, and smile you see, for Jonathan's heart will forever be. Remembering Jonathan, with eyes that could brighten the darkest days. Remembering Jonathan, and a smile that melted all your troubles away. With compassion for all and a soul that shown brigher than the sun... Remembering Jonathan Lose one friend... Lose all friends... Lose Yourself... |

This is awesome! Jonathan is well remembered. I am sorry for loss and hope this poem can bring some comfort. Very well done. And I still say: If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

loved this poem i read it through many times, and I relaised I could replace the name for a name of someone I lost, and it really really made me feel better. I agree with what littlewing said. I cant think of nay words that bring justice to how amazing this poem is. love and empathy darkness nirvana means freedom from pain, suffering and the external world. |

I sincerely appreciate the responses to this one. We lost my brother unexpectedly on his twenty-fifth birthday, and this was my way of coping and a gift to my parents. Indeed, please feel free to use whatever name might be relevant to your life. Defective - I am in Shelby. Again to you all, thank you for your open hearts and for taking time to read! Lose one friend... Lose all friends... Lose Yourself... |
