His love wraps
me like a blanket,
keeping me safe
from outraged jibes
of so called friends
in a bigoted world
whereblack and white
arean unnatural blend.

shaking my head here...

you'd think people would get over that stuff by now. I like that there is comfort here--and yes, it confuses me too--like we don't have enough to disagree about without arguing over pigment.
