Electric jungles numb the mind Feverish are the thoughts of these puppets Sparkling flames lay in dormant eyes Flashing screens another extinguisher of hope. Tombs rising like weeds Demons Implanted like silicone A picture of perfection Scars still litter the body Immortality in a box Leasing your own leash Genocide gift-wrapped Starving for lucid dreams Double-edged swords swallowed whole As beauty and death skip hand in hand Tomorrow comes for those who fear it. |

Hm, this is interesting. I have to confess that, coming from my own personal angle and background, I'd say you're writing a piece of speculative poetry about a techno-dystopia. Is this correct? 2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2 |

Mmm yes, Fractal confused me then. But the poem had great idea's and thought's buzzing around in it. "Genocide gif-wrapped." Great, great, great. Hollow. I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad. The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had. - Gary Jules, Mad World. |

Well Fractal that is not what the poem was about, but that is what I love about poetry each person sees something different. Something more close fitting with their lives. Thank you, Hollow. Tomorrow comes for those who fear it. |
