I leaned on our forbidden wall the one you had me up against the first time we made love it seemed as if you thought I shouldn't be there without you. You held her hand impatiently it looked so obvious... She looked my way and half-ass smiled I grinned and thought "So how do you like my sloppy seconds, Sweetie?" You kissed her on the mouth (and made damn sure I saw) my jealousy would be your sweetest revenge (that is, if I let it be seen) You noticed the careless look I masqueraded around but I saw Hell through your eyes like I always had when another guy looked at me. The sun started to come out of hiding and into my eyes so I walked away from my spot and by the both of you swaying my hips and flicking my ashes on her shoe. I disappear around the corner and make my way home... praying the whole way that you'll be calling me tonight. [This message has been edited by Defective (10-15-2003 07:42 PM).] |

I liked this, it was a poem about a common issue, there was nothing vague about it, it was intigueingly honest. Well done. ~Lex |
