I hold my mothers faded photo in my hand. Caressing the ragged edges. She was a young girl, about the age for kissing fools and I love you best boyfriends. The black and white picture leaves me to imagine the colors of her day. The wind fluffs her brown hair as she smiles with big beautiful teeth. The sun on her round cheeks reflects the days when no one wore sunscreen and it was cute to have freckles. Her friends laugh as they hold the camera shouting at her to hold her in her pooch stomach. The camera clicks and her pleated skirt sways with her youthful hips as she swings her leg and points her saddle oxford shoe to the sky. Time won’t wait so she hops down the squares on the sidewalk as she sends a goodbye kiss to the wind.

this is a very lovely and enjoyable write. Though it was all beautiful, I especially liked the line:
"She was a young girl, about the age for kissing fools and I love you best boyfriends."
