I teeter upon the edge of a cliff, Sitting so still, so stiff, I sink back down into the black, Wondering if I will ever make it back. People gawk and stare, At those I have who do care, But they think I have it so good, They need to take a walk in my shoes, They really should. I am not the type, Who likes to gripe, Complaints are not worth, The trouble they may birth. In my passed, Things flew so fast, First the fights, And those sleepless nights. Children at my school, still make fun, Of the fact that I cannot see, It was very cruel. Things are not the best, I think all I need is a good nights rest, But it feels as if this all will never go, Time goes by so slow. Now the guilt piles on me, For I feel I have complained, I just want to be free, Of this vast and dangerous sea. |

So heartfelt...your thoughts and feelings expressed so clearly. Teetering is a well worn emotion by us all at one time or another I think. Thanks for sharing. Terri~ Well I will go down with this ship |
