When Love Is True More than anything I want to trust love. And in love I want to trust her. For she is the object of my affection. My love I won't give to just anyone. For I have learned that some don't appreciate a love too easily given. Some only intend to take some love and use it for awhile and then discard love as if love went out of style. How does one know if love is sincere? The answers have a need to be clear. Fools compare love with lust. True love thrives on the foundation of respect, honesty and trust. JamesLee December09 2003 |

Isn't that the real kick with love? It is so wonderful, but there is that ere of doubt. How can anyone be sure that it is true? Place your faith in your love, follow it with a sharp eye. |

Good poem James... Through my many trials and errors...I have concluded and this is only my opinion. If one respects himself...is truthful...confident...knows what they want, they're needs, regards mental stimulation and mental compatibility...possesses an intellectual and kind heart...then one's choices may be wiser in those they chose to trust their heart with? And, the older you grow, the wiser one becomes...or should anyway? Love desires to see happiness and give happiness in others...love asks nothing for oneself, is not jealous, condescending and is able to accept the person of their choice with their faults as well, as no one is perfect. Love does not use...love is most definately not co-dependent and when one can be alone with themselves and enjoy the company they keep...well, simply...love is not a free ticket to be taken care of... love is allowing the person to be who they are...encouraging them to grow, to continue their education and dreams...love gives and keeps on giving, and love is not abusive in any ways shape or form. Love is mature/crazy/lust/child-like/innocent/sweet/and life giving if it is true. Nuff said |
