silhouettes for you

What about those moments
That can not be touched
Mesmerizing feats in time
Where silhouettes remain
Passing in thought
Or captured in a picture frame.
The blowing of birthday candles
The high-tide kiss
The toast to the newlyweds
That the video camera didn’t miss.
It is its own production
Written for you to see
In a complex world
It’s your avenue to clarity -
Your light, your dreams, your life
A production performed by silhouettes
Telling nothing but the most memorable
Long after the production stops playing.
