In the twilight of evening's gleaming,
Stood the god of past nights' dreaming,
Bathed in starlight with golden crown,
Wrapped in toga of gossamer gown.
Proud he stood in Apollo stance,
I stood in awe, transfixed in trance.
Noble was this god from skies,
With Eden promise of paradise.
A land of plenty and endless love,
No war of man, just peace of dove.
His hand reached down from starry sky,
I slipped him mine with uttered sigh.
Thru' realms of time we'll spin together,
For I am his ~ now and forever...
