 ~* Sick Of Being Sick *~ I'm sure darn sick of being sick, and now I'm getting a little frantic. I’m usually really energetic, not some slug, or simply lethargic. This flu is making me ache and twitch, and no longer am I energetic. Rolling over on a couch or bed Becomes my one and only gymnastic. I took their costly analgesic, gargled with the prescribed antiseptic, Went back to the clinic still sick, Well at least they were apologetic. I can’t seem to find any logic to this horrible epidemic. One second you’re just plain “carsick”, The next thing, this flu turns all gastric! My head felt like it got hit by a brick, So I took two Tylenol really quick. Help! I need to feel fantastic, Is there some easy remedy or magic? Do you want to hear a funny thing? Now this is really quite ironic, they won't give me a flu shot, 'cause they tell me I'm too sick! Ask me if I feel like an actor in a really bad, bad flick. Someone turn the channel please, so I don't have to be this sick! Just a silly "ick" thing from one delirious sicko! See you soon and get those flu shots! aw sweetie--I wish I were there. Actually, I wish you were here. It's too damned cold there. I totally sympathize. But oh it would be so much fun if I could just teleport you here. I'm sitting here drinking a beer I can't taste, watching "Real Sex" (which I can't have) acting out my frustrations on the internet with little smilie facies that have more agility than I do! like this --->  sighs, and hugs, Gemini's are notoriously impatient patients! Thanks for the get well cards, and Karen, LOL, exactly! You say what I think, and you are SO right I am the most impatient patient going, and I have a ticket to a great concert Sunday so am in a real hurry to get rid of this stupid flu (3rd time in a row) and getting migthy tired of this. LOL, waiting to be well enough to get a flu shot, figure! You all got your flu shots I hope? Take care. |

Ohh..PLEASE be careful, because I hear this year is one of the worst ones yet. I have a nagging little cough and from time to time I feel the effects of a cold that can't seem to make up its mind whether its going to come full force or go away. Be well.. yea but i love when dilirum sets in sometimes, makes it kind of like being on a trip,without drugs, but ill hold on the vomitting of course, thats the worst, next year please get a flushot, and stay snug as a bug in a rug, |

Mysteria - I'm very glad that I did get the flu shot a few weeks ago, for now I have a cold or sumtin. But it's not developed into the flu, thank goodness. Hang in there... BC |

I think you need someone to take care of YOU for a change. You do so much for others, it's time to find someone to take care of you. Here I sit with a throat so sore it's hard to eat anything but broth!! Blech!!! And I had MY flu shot! |
