A Magic Moment A magic moment such as this Will linger well beyond a kiss An encore played upon my stage Repeated in a future age The look of you still mystifies And flashes there before my eyes In blackness of a midnight room And in the brilliant glare of noon The memories settle in my thought Of tender moments life had sought That fly the heights of galaxies And swim the depths of deepest seas I hold your warmth within my arms Within my mind, your golden charms For life was just about to start When I first held you near my heart And though you’re grown, I reminisce Of magic moments such as this For you were like your tender son When you were just a child of one Elizabeth Santos 11/23/2003 |
