Muses Of all the muses that I muse There are some, I never use And there are some that stay in lie And some that whisper mournful sigh The gifting of the years of time Have run a ragged run of prime Some have fattened overweight And some are anorexic fate I would in caring send a dove To all above a gift of love Put into the air we breathe A sweetened odor of bequeath The spirit of a phantoms sail The sanction of a cup of bale To warm the hearts the cold of night And give them focus in the light This is the essence of the school No more, no less, the Golden Rule |
