                I

I the willing
led by the knowing
am doing the impossible
for the ungrateful

I have done so much
for so long
with so little

I am highly qualified
to do anything
with nothing !

This trust in yourself is perfectly expressed here.
Never tire to give, "nothing" is full of  possibilities.
Good wishes for South Africa.
Love, Margherita

Interesting....

its a troubled land, yet somehow...noble? Or is that glorifying it too much?

Anyway, I like this..

I actually wrote this not of myself but of a woman I met while in South Africa.  I would give all I had in this world to spend just 10 minutes with her.  She owned a small craft shop in Kenya, making figurines and statues with her own hands. Hand-woven, nothing is more beautiful.

Her life, so full of trouble, yet she always got off the floor and stood right back up.

Beautiful country it is.

Thank you for your replies Margherita and Severin .  I only write from the heart so my literary skills may not be of the same quality as such blessed spirits as yourselves , but all I can do is try

Chris
