In heartfelt beseeching…reaching…
My fingers break the surface
Of your gentle pool
And I swallow back amazement
In tiny awestruck sounds
As if we have known each other
Through a thousand ages
There from the depths emerges
Your touch upon my tears
And lifting up before me
A water-being spout of clean sight clears
Your essence rushes through me
Gathering the tiny drops
Until my cask is light and empty…
Floating in your wake and dreams
Refilled in your fresh water kisses
From the sweetness collected
Of rainwater wishes
Passion steams
Aware, I bobble softly
In the cosmic puddles
Of ponds your cupped protective palm
Translucent in the silver wet
We drink
A new loves wine
