Sleep time fantasies Open new worlds to me I saver the images …and feelings they evoke But some times the things All go up in smoke The movies start to play Good feelings over me play My body is thrilled My mind with warmth is filled Wonderful thoughts pictures …and feelings over me sweep Then I fall asleep… |

Here, I'll try and support what I said. "Sleep time fantasies Open new worlds to me I saver the images" First time I read through I immediately thought you could be describing fantasies with women. "…and feelings they evoke" With that line I thought of a sexual desire/pleasure. "But some times the things All go up in smoke" You realizing that these women are out of reach for you, thus, you are watching porn. "The movies start to play" pornography "Good feelings over me play My body is thrilled My mind with warmth is filled Wonderful thoughts pictures …and feelings over me sweep Then I fall asleep…" talking about masturbating through pleasure from a porno, and then sleep. Again, I could be completely wrong as to what you are writing about. But I hope this better explains to other people if they did not think about that. Overall, I liked the poem, although I think you would be better off not trying to rhyme with some of your lines, because they sound kind of goofy. I think it would be better to just write and not worry about each line rhyming. regards - Jordan |

guess I feel compelled to say something on this - I certainly wasn't thinking about pornography or masturbation when I wrote this - guess I was just thinking about those times when you want to dream about something in particular that is outside the reality of your life and just as you start to get it in focus you fall asleep - it was written with some humor in mind - thanks for all the comments - Paul |
