Silver bird
the sky beckons

how easily you go now
on the whims of wind

the sparrows splash
in rainbows forming

the snowcastles sinking
with your cries of morning

over the meadow, as its
greenery lay drowning

how easily you go now
detached but knowing

i will be here for you
always, your awning,

your song on my branches,

now shared with your calling
