The fragile world, Crumbles to dust, My body decays, I slowly rust. I fall to the abyss, I drown amidst tears, In the dark depths, Crushed by fears. Left alone, To rot in hell, A broken dream Here I dwell. My eyes flutter, The years pass, Loneliness shatters My life like glass. I am broken, Betrayed and destroyed, Abandoned and hurt, Null and void. I scoop up the pieces, And at last I stand, In my broken world, An unfinished land. But the seeds of the future, They swirl and grow, From here to eternity, New happiness shall flow… |

I am glad that even with the heartache you can see the light at the tunnel. Love will never be lost on you! Excellent poem my dear. |

it was very refreshing to see someone write about such intense "pain" and "loss" and still put a very positive ending on it.. much enjoyed ![]() |

jesse, nice to meet you. Such a balance between a fall into the abyss and the value of it for you, great writing ~C |
