When I knew My Best Friend Do you notice how you are and how you act? Do you see how you treat me? You used to pay attention, you used to understand, but that’s all changed When we used to talk, we had so much fun. Laughing, joking, making fun of everyone, I used to feel like you cared, but now I just don’t know Can you tell me why you changed? Now whenever I’m around you, you don’t seem to care. You say two words, then act like I’m not there You always used to know if something was wrong with me, But now you have no clue. You can look in my eyes, and not even notice the tears that I cry. I know you have your own friends, But I still thought that you would let me in. We always were cool, But now that we’re at school you act as if you hate me. Im sorry if I’ve done something to make you mad. I never meant for anything to change, But then again it’s not exactly my fault. I’m not the one who changed. It was you. I’m sorry if I’ve done something wrong in your eyes. You still can’t do wrong in mine. I wish all of this would just disappear And things would go back to the way they once were. Back to the days when I still knew my best friend. |
