Fireflies of the Mind I’ve seen the firefly chum my eye O’er a rainbows awesome sky Skim me from a wallows rim And swim me o’er a wile of whim And there I’d ride a phantoms horse Within a fantasy of course And gallop down the glory road To a wonderlands abode The stage would light with candle bright Banish all realities blight Bail me out a whimsy’s sail And fill desires empty pail And they’re within illusions file I’d live my fantasies of wile Reign a Cheshire wend of prime Until the very end of time Beside me would the fairest dove My Angel and my Queen of love. |
