Give me a sign

I remember the time
When your love once was mine
And your kisses belonged only to me

The nights were so warm
And filled with your charm
And the joy in my heart, all could see

Give me a reason
Give me a sign
Give me the chance
To say you are mine

Your eyes have a fire
Shining out their desire
But for who I can no longer say

I long to surround you
My love to protect you
My life at your feet I shall lay

Give me a reason
Give me a sign
Give me the chance
To say you are mine

My life had a meaning
Filled up with those feelings
That only you offered to me

And now I’m alone
And I wait by the phone
For the day you say please come to me

Give me a reason
Give me a sign
Give me the chance
To say you are mine

I pray for the day
When once more you will stay
In a world of just me and you

I hope it will come
For I know you’re the one
And my feelings of love are so true

Sounds like a slow song, Steve...
I enjoyed it, thank you.

Wow, Steve!

This was a beautiful piece of writing and I could easily picture it as a song.  It is so nice to see a picture of you and to be able to read your words again.

Take care......Sue
